1. About us

Visa-Port (the “Agency”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a duly registered travel and immigration services agency operating from Riad El Solh Street, near Al Jammal Trust Bank, Saida, Lebanon. We have served clients in Lebanon and across the region since 1995. Our commercial registration, tax identification, and licensing records are held with the competent Lebanese authorities and may be produced on legitimate request.

We operate the websites visa-port.com (this site) and portal.visa-port.com (the client portal where active applications can be tracked). Use of the client portal is further governed by the portal’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Nature of our services

We provide the following categories of service (collectively, the “Services”):

We act as an intermediary. We do not issue visas, grant entry, operate flights, own hotels, insure risks, or legalise documents ourselves. We prepare, submit, and follow up with the relevant authorities or service providers on your behalf.

3. No guarantee of outcome

Visas are issued at the sole discretion of the destination country’s embassy, consulate, or immigration authority. Entry is granted at the discretion of the border officer. We do not and cannot guarantee:

Past approval statistics, however accurate, are not a prediction of future outcomes in an individual case.

4. Client responsibilities

You represent and warrant that:

Providing false, misleading, forged, or materially incomplete information is grounds for us to immediately terminate our engagement without refund and to report the matter to the competent authorities. You remain fully responsible for any legal, civil, or criminal consequence of such conduct.

5. Fees, deposits, payments

Our professional fees are set out in the service quotation, invoice, or booking confirmation issued to you. Our fees are separate from and in addition to any embassy, legalisation, translation, ticketing, or other third-party cost, which is collected and remitted to the relevant third party.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, a non-refundable deposit (typically 30%–50% of the total professional fee) is payable before we commence work. The balance is payable as set out in the invoice, and in any event before final submission to the embassy or third party. We accept cash in United States Dollars or Lebanese Pounds (at the then-prevailing bank rate), bank transfer, Whish Money, and, for certain services, credit-card or online payment via the client portal.

Late payment entitles us to suspend work, charge interest at the maximum rate permitted by Lebanese law, and recover reasonable costs of collection.

7. Embassy fees & third-party costs

Embassy, consular, translation, notarisation, apostille, biometrics, courier, insurance premium, and ticketing fees are set by the relevant third party. We collect them as a pass-through on your behalf and remit them to the third party. We do not profit from these fees. They are non-refundable by us once paid to the third party. If the third party grants a refund, we will pass the refund to you minus any unrecoverable wire or currency-conversion charge.

8. Documents & passports

When you hand us original documents (passport, civil-status extracts, educational certificates, bank statements, etc.), we issue a receipt and keep the documents in a secured premises. We handle them with reasonable care but do not insure them beyond the face value of our professional fee. For high-value or irreplaceable documents, you are advised to arrange separate insurance.

If a document is lost or damaged in our custody due to our proven negligence, our liability is limited to the cost of obtaining a replacement copy, excluding consequential loss. We are not liable for delay, loss, or damage caused by embassies, courier companies, postal services, or other third parties once the document has left our direct custody.

We may retain copies (paper or scanned) of your documents for the period required by Lebanese tax and anti-money-laundering law (typically seven (7) years) before secure destruction. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Processing times

Any processing time communicated to you is an estimate based on historic embassy performance and is not a promise. Embassies may require additional documents, schedule additional interviews, or suspend processing for internal or security reasons at any time, without notice or explanation. We will not be liable for any loss, missed connection, non-refundable booking, or opportunity cost arising from a delay in embassy processing.

10. Flight, hotel, cruise, and other booked services

When we issue a flight ticket, hotel reservation, cruise booking, transfer, or car rental, we do so as an agent of the respective operator. The operator’s conditions of carriage, reservation terms, check-in requirements, baggage rules, cancellation policy, modification fees, no-show penalties, and liability limits apply in full. It is your responsibility to review and comply with them. Operator conditions may limit liability for death, injury, baggage loss, and delay under the Warsaw Convention, the Montreal Convention, the Athens Convention, EU Regulation 261/2004, or equivalent instruments.

11. Insurance, health, and force majeure

We strongly recommend travel and medical insurance for every trip. Coverage, exclusions, waiting periods, and claim procedures are governed by the policy documentation issued by the underwriter.
